Maybe this is It

Rejoicing has become a rare event these days – as I recently went through a spate of sorrow. But, such over-flooding of sorrow has given me ample space for self-introspection and correcting myself to the prevalent situation.

I was just wondering if this could be called sorrow at all. Adi Shankaracharya would call this sorrow as avidya (ignorance,) where I wandered away from my Self. And, this wandering is critical as the world I strayed into called the realm of non-Self is not where I must realize my Brahman. At least, my Atman soon came to know that the sat-chit-ananda (Existence – Consciousness – Bliss) doesn’t exist in the external world but lies somewhere yet unexplored in my internal landscape.

Thanks to everyone that helped me endure this phase.
